MD Cares Initiative

MD Cares Initiative delivers cancer care kits to cancer patients. Each Cancer Care Kit is a source of comfort and support for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. The contents of each kit may vary depending on item availability, making each one unique. This initiative is a result of the collaboration between MD Patient Navigation and Legacy Church, which serves as the distribution hub for these care packets. Our collective goal is to supply 1000 Care Kits to the PMH Oncology Units, benefiting patients during their treatment journey.

The distribution of these kits is a weekly endeavor. Your support is deeply appreciated, and you have the option to contribute by either donating items from the product listing or by making a cash donation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will be dedicated to procuring Care Kit items for the PHA Foundation, ultimately benefiting the PMH Oncology Unit.

Currently, the oncology unit accommodates over two hundred patients each week. This seemingly small gesture of kindness will undoubtedly leave a profound and lasting impact on these patients, providing them with essential items and a dose of positivity.
